Billing & Payments
| Bills are mailed monthly in three cycles. Depending on
where you live is when your bill is mailed out during the month. All of
our water meters are read monthly. Most use a touch read transmitter
that electronically transfers the usage to a reader then is loaded into
our office computer system. This prevents human error from reading
meters. The computers also check for items such as excessive usage. Payments can be made in our office or through our drive-up window during our normal work hours. There is a drop box by the drive-up window for after-hours. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards The following banks now accept Pace Water System payments. Customers should bring in their current bills only. Only the locations indicated accept the payments: Members First Credit Union, Pace Branch, located on Hwy 90. United Bank at the intersection of Hwy 90 and Diamond Street. We are receiving more and more inquiries concerning on-line payments. We are looking into several systems to do on-line billing and payments. In addition, we may have a phone system that will allow for billing statements and to call customers on late payments, high water usage or for service interruptions (such as main breaks or scheduled repairs/construction). Please bear with us as these systems are not free and we are looking for the most cost effective versus benefit. In the mean time, most banks do on line banking and we do have automatic monthly payments. Please call our office for more details. |
